This is the Second Sunday of Lent. Pastor Nelson began by inviting us to dig deeper into the scripture to find new interpretations. The parable in Matthew 25:31-40 is about Jesus teaching the disciples what the kingdom of God is like. The kingdom of God is putting our personal goals and benefits aside so the whole can prosper.
